- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Burger buns - 2, Halal
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice brown crust.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the yogurt with lemon juice and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- To assemble the burgers, place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber slices.
- Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the top and place the other half of the bun on top to complete the burger.
- Serve immediately with a side of salad or your choice of fries.
