- Filo pastry - 200 grams
- Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
- Feta cheese - 50 grams
- Powdered sugar - 50 grams
- Butter - 50 grams, melted
- Egg - 1 large
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
- Honey - 2 tablespoons (for drizzling)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, crumbled feta cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Lay one sheet of filo pastry on a clean surface and brush it lightly with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and brush with butter again.
- Spoon a portion of the cheese mixture along one edge of the pastry, then fold the sides over and roll it up tightly into a log shape.
- Repeat the process with the remaining filo pastry and cheese mixture to make more rolls.
- Place the rolled pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey, and let cool slightly before serving.
