Ingredients

  • Bonito fish - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Mixed greens (arugula, lettuce) - 100 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved

Steps

  1. Rinse the bonito fish under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create a marinade.
  3. Place the bonito fish in the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
  5. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated bonito fish to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While the fish is cooking, prepare the salad by tossing mixed greens and cherry tomatoes in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt to taste.
  7. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
  8. Serve the bonito fish on a plate, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside the salad.
