Ingredients

  • Bonito fish (palamut) - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the bonito fish into steaks, approximately 2.5 cm thick.
  3. Place the fish steaks in the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the fish from the marinade and place them on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Serve the grilled bonito with lemon wedges on the side.
