Ingredients
- Milk - 500 ml
- Sugar - 50 g
- Cornstarch - 30 g
- Rose water - 1 tsp
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Pistachios (finely chopped) - 20 g
- Rose syrup - for drizzling
Steps
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the rose water and vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into serving bowls or cups and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Before serving, top with finely chopped pistachios and drizzle with rose syrup.
