Ingredients

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 50 g
  • Cornstarch - 30 g
  • Rose water - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • Pistachios (finely chopped) - 20 g
  • Rose syrup - for drizzling

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble.
  3. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the rose water and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving bowls or cups and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  6. Before serving, top with finely chopped pistachios and drizzle with rose syrup.
