Ingredients
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Zucchini - 1 medium
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Grate the zucchini and place it in a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated zucchini, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, egg, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have a nice sear.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt with lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
- Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the patties topped with the yogurt sauce and additional parsley if desired.
