Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams

  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Yogurt - 100 grams (for sauce)
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Cucumber - 1/2, finely diced

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and mix well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the chicken marinates, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the yogurt, chopped dill, and finely diced cucumber in a bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  7. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  8. Serve the grilled chicken skewers hot with the yogurt sauce on the side.
