  • Water - 500 milliliters
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  2. Add the diced lamb to the pot, browning it on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced carrot, potato, and chopped tomato, cooking for another 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
  4. Pour in the water and add the salt, black pepper, paprika, and bay leaf. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 25 minutes, or until the lamb is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
  6. Remove the bay leaf and stir in the chopped parsley before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
