- Water - 500 milliliters
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Bay leaf - 1
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the diced lamb to the pot, browning it on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced carrot, potato, and chopped tomato, cooking for another 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
- Pour in the water and add the salt, black pepper, paprika, and bay leaf. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 25 minutes, or until the lamb is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
- Remove the bay leaf and stir in the chopped parsley before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
