- Lamb shoulder - 200 grams, cut into cubes
- White fish fillets (such as cod or haddock) - 200 grams, cut into pieces
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, stirring to coat well. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, add the fish pieces and lightly coat them with some of the leftover marinade. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb and fish alternately onto the skewers.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked through and the fish is opaque and flaky.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
