Ingredients
- Fish fillets (such as sea bass or trout) - 300 grams
- Lamb shoulder, cubed - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion, finely chopped - 1 medium
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 250 milliliters
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and continue to sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the cubed lamb shoulder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the lamb is browned.
- Pour in the water and bring to a simmer. Cover and let it cook on low heat for 45 minutes until the lamb is tender.
- Once the lamb is cooked, gently place the fish fillets on top of the lamb in the pot. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Cover the pot and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Carefully serve the dish, ensuring both the lamb and fish are on the plate, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
