Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Lamb shoulder, cooked and shredded - 200 grams
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 medium (100 grams)
  • Tomato, diced - 1 medium (150 grams)
  • Green bell pepper, diced - 1 medium (100 grams)
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Turkish red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the diced tomato and green bell pepper to the skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the shredded lamb, Turkish red pepper flakes, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to combine the flavors.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into an oval shape, about 1 cm thick.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the lamb mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  10. Serve hot with a side of yogurt for dipping.
