Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Yogurt - 100 grams, for serving

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and fresh parsley. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties, pressing them firmly to hold their shape.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness (internal temperature should be at least 70°C).
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly in another skillet or oven.
  5. Once cooked, assemble the burgers by placing a lamb patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and cucumber slices.
  6. Add a generous dollop of yogurt on top and cover with the top half of the bun. Serve hot.
