Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 300 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Yogurt - 100 grams, for serving
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and fresh parsley. Mix well until fully combined.
- Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties, pressing them firmly to hold their shape.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness (internal temperature should be at least 70°C).
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly in another skillet or oven.
- Once cooked, assemble the burgers by placing a lamb patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and cucumber slices.
- Add a generous dollop of yogurt on top and cover with the top half of the bun. Serve hot.
