Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your liking and has nice grill marks.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
