Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Yogurt - 100 grams (for marinade)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Skewers - 2 (if using wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and mix well until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill or BBQ to a medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers, leaving some space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill, let them rest for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
