Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cubed
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Red onion - 1 medium, cut into wedges
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into chunks
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cubed lamb shoulder, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well until the lamb is evenly coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
  2. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated lamb, red onion wedges, bell pepper chunks, and cherry tomatoes onto skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  3. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Kuzu Kuzu Kuzu Urfa with a side salad or grilled vegetables.
