Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, mixing thoroughly to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
