Ingredients
- Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, mixing thoroughly to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
