Ingredients
- Lamb shoulder - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the lamb shoulder into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your Kuzu Kebab with a side of keto-friendly vegetables or salad.
