Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder, cubed - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, yogurt, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the cubed lamb shoulder to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the meat is nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your choice of side dishes.
