Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red bell pepper - 1, cut into chunks
  • Red onion - 1, cut into chunks
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the lamb is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting the red bell pepper and red onion into chunks.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated lamb, red bell pepper, and red onion alternately onto the skewers.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
