- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Clean the lamb head thoroughly under cold running water, removing any hair or impurities.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the lamb head, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the lamb head from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Place the lamb head on the grill and cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
- The lamb head is done when the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and mint before serving.
