- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into chunks
- Red onion - 1 small, cut into chunks
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting the bell pepper and red onion into chunks.
- After marinating, thread the chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
- Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
