- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red onion - 1 small, cut into wedges
- Bell pepper (mixed colors) - 1 medium, cut into squares
- Cherry tomatoes - 8, halved
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours for best flavor.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb, red onion wedges, bell pepper squares, and cherry tomato halves onto the soaked skewers, alternating the ingredients.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Once done, remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your choice of side dishes like rice or salad.
