- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the cubed lamb with olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
- While the lamb is grilling, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing plain yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped mint in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the grilled lamb skewers on the bottom half of the bun, adding slices of tomato, cucumber, and red onion. Drizzle with the yogurt sauce.
