  • White fish fillets (such as sea bass) - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 250 milliliters

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the lamb pieces to the skillet, season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook until the lamb is browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add the diced red bell pepper and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer. Cover and let it cook for 15 minutes until the lamb is tender.
  6. Gently place the fish fillets on top of the lamb and vegetable mixture. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley and dill.
  7. Cover the skillet and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  8. Remove from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy your Kuzu Balığı warm!
