  • Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Almonds (sliced) - 30 grams
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in warm water for 15 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add the drained rice to the saucepan, stirring to coat with the oil and onion mixture for about 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth, add the soaked dried grapes, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and cover the pot. Cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid.
