Ingredients

  • Dried bananas - 200 grams
  • Water - 250 ml
  • Sugar - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
  • Coconut flakes - 20 grams

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and add the dried bananas to the syrup. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the bananas are soft and infused with the syrup.
  3. Stir in the cinnamon powder and mix well. Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. Serve the syrupy bananas in small bowls, topped with chopped walnuts and a sprinkle of coconut flakes.
