- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 200 milliliters
Steps
- Place the dried apricots, figs, and dates in a saucepan and cover them with 200 milliliters of water. Let them soak for about 10 minutes to soften.
- After soaking, bring the pan to a gentle simmer over medium heat and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the fruits are tender.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in the honey, cinnamon powder, orange zest, chopped walnuts, and sliced almonds.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and allow it to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
