  • Almonds (sliced) - 50 grams
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. Place the dried apricots, figs, and dates in a saucepan and cover them with 200 milliliters of water. Let them soak for about 10 minutes to soften.
  2. After soaking, bring the pan to a gentle simmer over medium heat and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the fruits are tender.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in the honey, cinnamon powder, orange zest, chopped walnuts, and sliced almonds.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and allow it to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
