Ingredients

  • Canned chickpeas - 240 grams (drained and rinsed)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crunchy.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before sprinkling with chopped fresh parsley.
