- Canned chickpeas - 240 grams (drained and rinsed)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crunchy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before sprinkling with chopped fresh parsley.
