Ingredients

  • Water - 50 milliliters
  • Powdered sugar - for dusting (optional)

Steps

  1. In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, and ground cinnamon. Heat over low heat until the mixture is warm and well combined, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the roasted hazelnuts and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly toasted and fragrant.
  3. Pour the warm honey mixture over the sautéed hazelnuts and stir well to coat them evenly.
  4. Continue to cook on low heat for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the hazelnuts absorb the flavors.
  5. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly before shaping it into small balls or clusters.
  6. Place the formed tatlı on a serving plate, and if desired, dust with powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
