- Fresh mussels - 12 units
- Cream cheese - 100 grams
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Thoroughly clean the mussels under running water, scrubbing the shells to remove any debris.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crumbled feta, grated Parmesan, sautéed garlic, chopped parsley, black pepper, paprika, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.
- Open each mussel shell and carefully remove the meat. Place the empty shells on a baking tray.
- Fill each mussel shell with the cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well filled.
- Bake the stuffed mussels in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Garnish with additional chopped parsley and serve warm.
