Ingredients

  • Fresh mussels - 12 units
  • Cream cheese - 100 grams
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Thoroughly clean the mussels under running water, scrubbing the shells to remove any debris.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crumbled feta, grated Parmesan, sautéed garlic, chopped parsley, black pepper, paprika, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.
  5. Open each mussel shell and carefully remove the meat. Place the empty shells on a baking tray.
  6. Fill each mussel shell with the cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well filled.
  7. Bake the stuffed mussels in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with additional chopped parsley and serve warm.
