Ingredients

  • Instant yeast - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Diced lamb or beef - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Green bell pepper - 1, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, instant yeast, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  5. Add the diced meat to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Stir in the green bell pepper, tomato, paprika, cumin, and ground black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until vegetables are soft.
  7. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  8. Roll out the rested dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet to form two oval shapes.
  9. Spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly over each dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy.
  11. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, slice, and serve hot.
