Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 300 grams
  • Garlic cloves - 2, minced
  • Red onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 50 grams, finely diced

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 2 patties, ensuring they are even in size.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and diced cucumber in a small bowl. Set aside.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To serve, place each chicken patty in a large lettuce leaf, top with a generous spoonful of yogurt sauce, and wrap it up like a taco.
