Ingredients

  • Chicken broth - 500 ml
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Fresh tarragon leaves - 15 g
  • Butter - 30 g
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 10 minutes to develop the flavors.
  3. Add the fresh tarragon leaves to the broth and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, mixing until well combined. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
