- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 10 minutes to develop the flavors.
- Add the fresh tarragon leaves to the broth and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, mixing until well combined. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
