Ingredients

  • Sucuk sausage - 200 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2 medium, sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Remove the casing from the sucuk sausage and crumble it into the skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sucuk, almond flour, egg, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until a dough-like consistency forms.
  4. Form the mixture into two burger patties.
  5. Heat the skillet again with a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Prepare the burger: Lay a lettuce leaf on a plate, place a sucuk patty on top, and add slices of tomato and cucumber.
  7. Top with another lettuce leaf to create a 'bun' and serve immediately.
