Ingredients
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Ground pork - 100 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Natural sausage casings - 1 meter (optional)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef and ground pork thoroughly.
- Add garlic powder, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes to the meat mixture, and mix well until all spices are evenly distributed.
- If using sausage casings, soak them in water for about 30 minutes, rinse, and set aside.
- Stuff the meat mixture into the sausage casings using a sausage stuffer, or shape into patties if not using casings.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the sucuk for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are well browned and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and let rest for a couple of minutes before slicing or serving.
