Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Ground pork - 100 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Natural sausage casings - 1 meter (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef and ground pork thoroughly.
  2. Add garlic powder, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes to the meat mixture, and mix well until all spices are evenly distributed.
  3. If using sausage casings, soak them in water for about 30 minutes, rinse, and set aside.
  4. Stuff the meat mixture into the sausage casings using a sausage stuffer, or shape into patties if not using casings.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the sucuk for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are well browned and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a couple of minutes before slicing or serving.
