- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Unsweetened coconut flakes - 50 grams
- Butter - 30 grams
- Erythritol - 30 grams
- Almond milk - 200 ml
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Pistachios (chopped) - for garnish
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the almond flour and coconut flakes to the melted butter, stirring continuously until the mixture turns golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the erythritol, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Slowly pour the almond milk mixture into the nut mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Continue to cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan, about 10-15 minutes.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Scoop the helva into serving dishes and garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
