Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes - 50 grams
  • Butter - 30 grams
  • Erythritol - 30 grams
  • Almond milk - 200 ml
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Pistachios (chopped) - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the almond flour and coconut flakes to the melted butter, stirring continuously until the mixture turns golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the erythritol, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the almond milk mixture into the nut mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  5. Continue to cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  7. Scoop the helva into serving dishes and garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
