Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg wash (1 egg + 1 tablespoon water) - 1 batch
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Cucumber (sliced) - 1/2 medium
  • Feta cheese (crumbled) - 50 grams
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into two equal patties.
  3. In another bowl, mix almond flour, shredded mozzarella, and egg until a dough forms. Divide the dough into two equal portions and flatten each into an oval shape to create the base for the pide.
  4. Place the formed pide crusts on a lined baking sheet. Brush the edges with the egg wash.
  5. Bake the pide crusts in the oven for about 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
  6. While the crusts are baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the beef patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Once the pide crusts are out of the oven, top each with a cooked beef patty, lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices, crumbled feta, and chopped parsley.
  8. Return the assembled pide burgers to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to warm through.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then serve and enjoy your Keto Pide Burger!
