Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Sumac - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 patties and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix almond flour, egg, and a pinch of salt until a dough forms. If it's too dry, add a teaspoon of water.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper until it's about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into circles using a glass or cookie cutter.
- Place each beef patty in the center of a dough circle, fold the edges over to seal, and pinch tightly.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the sealed manti burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix Greek yogurt with chopped parsley and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- Serve the Manti Burgers hot, topped with the garlicky yogurt mixture and a sprinkle of sumac.
