Ingredients
- Almond flour - 150 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Yogurt (full-fat, unsweetened) - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, egg, and salt to form a dough. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add ground beef, black pepper, and paprika to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
- Roll out the rested dough between two sheets of parchment paper until about 2mm thick. Cut into 5cm squares.
- Place a small spoonful of the meat filling in the center of each square. Fold the corners to the center and pinch to seal, forming a dumpling.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully drop the manti into the boiling water and cook for 8-10 minutes until they float to the top.
- In a small bowl, mix the yogurt with minced garlic and a pinch of salt. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Drain the manti and serve topped with the garlic yogurt sauce, a drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
