- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Almond flour - 40 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large, for serving
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal parts and shape each into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for serving.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a large lettuce leaf and topping with tomato slices, cucumber slices, and crumbled feta cheese if using.
