Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Almond flour - 40 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large, for serving
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 2 equal parts and shape each into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for serving.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a large lettuce leaf and topping with tomato slices, cucumber slices, and crumbled feta cheese if using.
