Ingredients

  • Unsweetened gelatin - 10 grams
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Erythritol - 80 grams
  • Hazelnuts (chopped) - 50 grams
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Rose water - 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 100 ml of cold water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the remaining 100 ml of water and erythritol. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the erythritol dissolves completely.
  3. Once the erythritol is dissolved, bring the mixture to a gentle boil and then reduce the heat to low.
  4. Add the bloomed gelatin to the saucepan and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. Stir in the coconut oil, rose water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in the chopped hazelnuts.
  7. Pour the mixture into a silicone mold or a lined square pan and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  8. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  9. Once set, cut into small cubes and enjoy your Keto Fındıklı Lokum!
