- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Red onion - 1/2 small, thinly sliced
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble the burgers, place each patty inside two large romaine lettuce leaves. Top with sliced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and a generous dollop of the yogurt sauce.
