Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2 small, thinly sliced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Set aside.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To assemble the burgers, place each patty inside two large romaine lettuce leaves. Top with sliced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and a generous dollop of the yogurt sauce.
