- Heavy cream - 100 ml

- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli to the pot and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the vegetable broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.
- Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth, or transfer to a blender in batches.
- Return the pureed soup to the pot, stir in the heavy cream, and season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
