Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and browned.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, chopped mint, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
  5. Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. To serve, place each beef patty on a large lettuce leaf, drizzle with the garlic yogurt sauce, and fold the lettuce over the burger like a wrap.
