Ingredients
- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and browned.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, chopped mint, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Once the patties are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To serve, place each beef patty on a large lettuce leaf, drizzle with the garlic yogurt sauce, and fold the lettuce over the burger like a wrap.
