- Quince - 200 grams
- Erythritol - 50 grams
- Water - 200 ml
- Cinnamon stick - 1 piece
- Cardamom pods - 2 pieces
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
- Unsweetened coconut flakes - 10 grams
Steps
- Peel and core the quince, then cut it into quarters.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, erythritol, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the quince pieces to the saucepan and reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the quince is tender.
- Once tender, remove the quince and place it on serving plates. Continue to simmer the syrup for an additional 5-10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Pour the syrup over the quince pieces and let it cool slightly.
- Garnish each serving with chopped walnuts and unsweetened coconut flakes before serving.
