Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Sugar-free yogurt or tzatziki - 100 grams

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb and ground beef with grated onion, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, roughly 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are well browned and cooked through.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing the lettuce leaves and setting them on a plate.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a lettuce leaf, topping with slices of tomato and cucumber, and a dollop of sugar-free yogurt or tzatziki.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your Keto Adana Burgers!
