- Lamb or beef döner meat - 200 grams
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Tomato sauce - 100 ml
- Butter - 30 grams
- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the pita breads on a baking tray and lightly toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until crisp.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the tomato sauce to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Meanwhile, in a separate pan, cook the döner meat over medium heat until browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes.
- In another small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until bubbling, then remove from heat.
- To assemble, place the toasted pita on plates, top with the cooked döner meat, drizzle with the tomato sauce, and pour the melted butter over the top.
- Serve generously with a dollop of plain yogurt on the side.
