Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon - 1, cut into wedges (for serving)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your preferred level of doneness and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve the Kebap Kuzu Kuzu garnished with chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
