- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the lamb cubes with olive oil, minced garlic, chopped onion, yogurt, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and parsley. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning frequently until the lamb is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges.
