- Red bell pepper - 1, finely chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Large baking potatoes - 2
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Tomato - 1, diced
- Cucumber - 1, diced
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Wash the baking potatoes, pierce them with a fork, and rub with olive oil and salt. Place them directly on the oven rack and bake for 40-50 minutes until tender.
- In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, red bell pepper, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into skewers or patties, depending on your preference.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers or patties for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through and browned.
- Once the potatoes are cooked, carefully cut them open and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Top each potato with a dollop of yogurt, grilled meat, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and serve immediately.
